Who is This Dazzling Author?

I figured that in order to start this website/blog, I needed a proper introduction. So who the heck am I?

Blog

Hi y’all, I’m Kate! My days are comprised of getting spit up on, changing way too many diapers, making so many bottles that I could do it in my sleep, and keeping two tiny humans and two big dogs alive. I’m a dog mom, wife, crafter, DIYer, and oh yeah, a mom of infant twins! I’m currently 31 years old living in Pennsylvania, but the military had moved us to a couple other states in previous years. I’m very happily married to my favorite person and my rock, and definitely couldn’t do life without him, especially now. Shortly after getting married, he joined the military, so I have spent time living in Pennsylvania, Texas, waaaay south Florida, and now I’m back in Pennsylvania for now. We have two dogs; a chocolate lab and a golden retriever/german shepherd, and also a rabbit. New to our household are our twins.

I became pregnant in 2021 after thinking that pregnancy was impossible due to my PCOS diagnosis, and in February 2022, I had our boy/girl twins when they were only 33 gestational weeks and they spent about a month each in the NICU. Mainly, this blog will go through our birth story and all of the drama around it, stories and hardships that we go through at first time parents, and information regarding PCOS.

Becoming first time parents, especially to twins, is one of the hardest things we’ve ever done. It tests your relationship, as well as mental and physical strength. We both mean it when we say that we wouldn’t be abele to do it without the other. We’re going to use this page as an outlet for our frustrations, as well as comedic relief for all of the nonsense that people without twins wouldn’t understand.

Please bare with me/us as I get this page up and running, and definitley subscribe so you can laugh at someone else’s life other than your own. I promise, I won’t take offense. Happy reading! Stay sane!

~Kate
